For the third edition of Isola Design District, we will celebrate design in all its forms, with this year’s theme: #UnlimitedDesign!
The whole Isola neighbourhood, for a week, will be transformed into a platform of design without limits, welcoming over 200 designers, design studios and companies from all over the world, hosted by dozens of locations within the district. Even geographically, it will exceed its borders, thanks to the renewed collaboration with Regione Lombardia – at Palazzo Lombardia there will be 4 installations and 2 exhibitions – and, for the first time, with Fabbrica Del Vapore.
Stecca 3.0, in front of the park Biblioteca degli Alberi, will become a #DesignVillage, with 3M as main partner, outdoor installations, internal exhibitions, the first 3D printed design bar, the Unlimited Design Talks 2019, the Eat Urban – Food Truck Festival, as well as night events with Milan’s most beloved crews, such as Le Cannibale, Floristeria, NUL, Giardino DEI Visionari!
Among the collective exhibitions, Milan Design Market will be, once again, a hub for 45 emerging international designers, with a selection of projects never so rich before and an area dedicated to experimental materials. Here you can also buy every single design piece showcased!
Finally, by downloading the Aria application, you will access an innumerable amount of contents in augmented reality, which will guide you from one location to another, through the streets of Milan’s most hip neighbourhood!

Per la terza edizione di Isola Design District, celebreremo il design in ogni sua forma, al grido del tema di quest’anno: #UnlimitedDesign!
L’intero quartiere Isola, per una settimana, verrà trasformato in una piattaforma del design senza limiti, accogliendo oltre 200 tra designer, studi di design ed aziende, provenienti da tutte le parti del Mondo, in decine di location sparse per il distretto. Anche geograficamente supereremo i suoi confini, grazie alla rinnovata collaborazione con Regione Lombardia – a Palazzo Lombardia ci saranno ben 4 installazioni e 2 esposizioni – e all’inserimento per la prima volta all’interno del circuito di Fabbrica Del Vapore.
Stecca 3.0, di fronte alla Biblioteca degli Alberi, sarà un vero e proprio #DesignVillage, con 3M come main partner, installazioni all’aperto, esposizioni interne, il primo design bar interamente stampato in 3D, gli Unlimited Design Talks 2019, l’Eat Urban – Food Truck Festival, oltre ad eventi serali con le crew più amate di Milano, come Le Cannibale, Floristeria, NUL, Giardino DEI Visionari!
Tra le esposizioni collettive, ancora una volta Milan Design Market farà da vetrina a 45 designer emergenti internazionali, con una selezione di progetti mai così ricca prima e un’area dedicata ai materiali sperimentali. Come sempre, qui potrai anche acquistare i prodotti in mostra!
Scaricando l’applicazione Aria, infine, accederai ad un’innumerevole quantità di contenuti in realtà aumentata, che ti guideranno da una location all’altra, tra le vie del quartiere più hip di Milano!
